Know which hectares are eligible
before you commit capital.

Earthbanc Intelligence is in Pre-Release. Early access allows you to select land parcels within Mongolia and screen them against registry eligibility rules to return eligible area, an estimated carbon yield and the methodologies that fit.

The Earthbanc Intelligence workspace: five areas of interest listed on the left, two of them outlined on Esri satellite imagery at 58.09 and 34.96 hectares, and a panel on the right listing VM0032, VM0050 and VM0047 ARR pre-feasibility analyses.

The problem

Deciding whether land can carry a carbon project means reading thousands of pages of registry methodology, IPCC guidance and national land regulation, then matching all of it to satellite, terrain and rainfall data for one specific area. Few teams hold both halves in-house. The ones that do spend weeks on sites a screen would have ruled out on day one.

How it works

Three steps, one sitting

Step one

Select or upload your area

Mark the area on the map or upload your own file.

Step two

Pick the analysis

Choose ARR (afforestation, reforestation and revegetation) or grassland. The engine reads the data for the area you submit, not the region around it.

Step three

Read the report

On screen in minutes, and as a PDF you can forward without editing.

What you get back

A report your funder can read without you in the room

An eligibility figure for the area you specify, the removals it supports after buffer and leakage, and a clear statement of the limits. With easy export to PDF.

Basis and data quality. Indicative pre-feasibility screen. This is not a VM0047 baseline and the figures are not creditable. VM0047 credits ex-post from measured stocking against control plots; these figures are a screening estimate only.

A real ARR run. District name and internal parameters removed.
Who it's for

When you need to know whether land is worth developing

Project developers

Screen sites before committing capital. Rule the weak ones out in an afternoon rather than a quarter.

Landowners and cooperatives

Find out whether a carbon project on your land is realistic, before anyone sends you an invoice.

Analysts and consultants

The first pass of a feasibility study, today. Bring your judgement to the parts that need it.

Programme and NGO teams

Build a pipeline of documented, comparable sites instead of a folder of one-off spreadsheets.

No GIS experience needed. An area and a question is enough.

Data and method

Where the numbers come from

Every run is screened against the eligibility rules the methodology sets. Carbon curves, buffer and leakage deductions are then applied as the registry requires. Land cover, forest change, terrain and rainfall are read at the resolution the source data allows.

  • Verra methodology
  • IPCC guidance
  • Local land regulation
  • and your own layers

Contains modified Copernicus Sentinel data, processed by the ESA WorldCover consortium. Forest change: Hansen/UMD/Google/USGS/NASA. Elevation: NASA JPL NASADEM. Results are derived from these sources, not the source data itself.

Scope and limits

Pre-feasibility, and what that means for you

This is not a validated project design document, and it does not replace a full feasibility study. It is the step before both.

Our model gives you a defensible reason to spend money on a site, or to stop, and an artefact you can put in front of a funder while you decide. During pre-release, treat every figure as indicative and check anything you act on.

One parcel. A few minutes.
